In June 2016 Caledonia ELT was founded by a group of friends from the motor industry in response to critical changes in Scotland’s tyre disposal regulations. Their mission is clear: to redefine the way tyres are handled and recycled, ensuring a cleaner, greener future for all.
Their facility boasts a robust infrastructure with a 10,000-ton processing capacity and a permit capacity of 13,500 tons per year.
Their geographic coverage, reaches from Inverness and Aberdeen to Oban, spanning the central belt, and extending our services to the borders.

DirectorRaised amidst the operations of her parents' MOT stations, Stephanie's lifelong connection to tyres evolved into a passion for responsible disposal. Transitioning from a successful finance career, she now combines financial acumen with an in-depth understanding of the tyre market. Her collaboration with SEPA has positioned Caledonia as a trailblazer, securing one of the first licenses under the new tyre disposal regulations.
